Professional Drone Services of Texas is proud to announce it’ll be exhibiting its state-of-the-art drone thermal imaging abilities at Houston’s 2018 Energy Drone Summit June 19 through 21!

In line with the forum’s goal of bringing energy industry leaders and end users together with the UAV/robotics/AI community to improve efficiency, safety and operations in the energy industry, PDS will be demonstrating some of the latest aerial thermal imaging capabilities – livestreaming thermal imagery and data from its equipment.

“The rapid adoption of aerial thermal imaging applications by the energy industry – especially for security, surveillance, surveys and inspections – make this a perfect time for such an exhange of ideas,” says PDS founder and president Wayne Franks. “We’re excited to be part of the discussion about how to take it to the next level – and to show the energy industry how it can benefit from our quickly growing array of capabilities.”

The Houston drone services company, he notes, recently upgraded its aerial thermal imaging equipment for greater power and efficiency. Its new drone, the DJI Matrice 210, is able to carry two cameras at once – the company’s new Zenmuse XT thermal camera (powered by FLIR) and the standard-vision DJI Zenmuse X5S. PDS has also updated to the most powerful, state-of-the-art zoom lens you can get – the Panasonic Lumix G X Vario 14-42mm power zoom lens. This allows for more ground to be covered, from farther away, meanwhile producing the highest-resolution photos and highest-definition video.

“Stop by our booth – not only to see the technology in action for yourself – but to register for daily giveaways of Drone Wear™ hats and shirts,” says Franks.

Drone Wear™, a wholly owned subsidiary of Professional Drone Services of Texas, offers trendy apparel for drone enthusiasts as as active wear for anyone into active living.

“We hope to see you there!” says Franks.
